Meet Stephanie.

Stephanie Ziglar is deeply rooted in Orange County, born and raised in the district she now seeks to serve. A proud third-generation resident of Orlando, and raising the fourth, she understands firsthand the neighborhoods, families, challenges, and opportunities that define District 3. At home, Stephanie is guided by her most treasured roles: wife to a tradesman and small business owner, mother to two children (her son a new UCF graduate and her daughter in elementary school), and caretaker to three cats and a dog. Stephanie has always valued her close connection to her family. One of the reasons she and her family chose their home was to live close to her 101-year-old grandfather, whose presence helps to anchor her in the daily life of this community, and is a living reminder of the importance of honoring her roots. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys immersing herself in Central Florida’s natural and culinary treasures. She can often be found birding or boating on the weekends, visiting local parks, or sharing a good meal and conversation with friends while exploring the region’s diverse restaurants.

Stephanie’s Plans for District 3.

Stephanie brings over fifteen years of nonprofit leadership and civic engagement experience to her candidacy. She began her public service as Vice President of the PTA at Lake George Elementary, then expanded into youth sports coaching, scouting leadership, and volunteering as a poll worker during elections. She currently serves as Past President of the William R. Boone High School Foundation, reinforcing her lifelong commitment to local education and community development. In August 2023, Stephanie became Executive Director of the Curry Ford West Main Street District, applying her passion for place and people to drive neighborhood revitalization and business support. The experience strengthened her belief that small businesses are the heartbeat of strong communities, contributing not only to the local economy but also to the identity, safety, and connectedness of the neighborhoods they serve.

If elected Commissioner for Orange County’s District 3, Stephanie will lead with empathy, energy, and a vision shaped by real-world experience. Her priorities center on strengthening neighborhood infrastructure, expanding access to essential services, and supporting the small businesses that give our community its heartbeat. She believes in smart, sustainable growth that keeps all our communities moving forward while preserving the character and familiarity of the places we call home. This progress builds on our roots, not over them. From cleaner, greener practices to forward-thinking infrastructure, Stephanie is committed to keeping District 3 thriving, resilient, and ready for the future. To her, leadership is personal; it’s built on conversation, consistency, and follow-through. Her campaign stands as a promise to bridge community, purpose, and progress, keeping District 3 connected to its roots while moving confidently toward its future.
